We prefer to meet at the studio in order to see if you would be a good fit.  Training studios are not for every personal trainer and therefore need to go over details on how to succeed and see how it feels for you.  You are your own marketing tool and shouldn't have to pay a big box gym for all your efforts.

I began working at big box gyms a long time ago and quickly realized how limiting the income, education, and experience is.  I was threatened by the manager at my last gym (Axiom in Fairfield, NJ) to do more sessions or my pay would be cut in 1/2 and I, in turn, promised (not threaten) the manager and owners that when I leave, you will close your entire personal training department down from having no sales.  After you lose your personal training department, the gym would then be out of business.  If you know anything about Axiom, you know they don't exist anymore.  I guess I was correct.

If you are being treated the same way, you have found a new home that you can blossom.  I opened this studio with personal trainers in mind (Not with the intention of taking what is rightfully yours).
